Image
Mindset of productivity  Here is a video that explains how we can be more productive 👇 Procrastination can have negative effects on both our energy levels and the amount of time we have available to complete tasks. When we put off tasks, we often think and tell ourselves that we are giving ourselves a break or more time to complete the task. However, in reality, we are just creating more stress and anxiety for ourselves.  1. Write in your journal  2. Don’t over commit  3. Look after your mental health  4. Get off social media for example facebook etc 5. Have a to do list each day  6. Create a planner for the week  I hope this helps you to improve your productivity so you can get your work done.

My story about epilepsy

My story about epilepsy  Video made and edited by David Morrah  David Morrah film maker This video is about my experience with epilepsy and what people need to know about it. My seziures are different to normal tonic clonic seziures. I have a lot of absent seziures and I don’t have control I fall and don’t remember I even had a seziure this type is not a tonic colonic but absent seziures are just as horrible as the most common seziures. My name is Lori and I first got diagnosed with epilepsy when I was 25 years old, that was a few years ago now.  How did you handle being told you were epileptic? Fighting Brain Fog

Image
Do you struggle with brain fog? Your are not alone! I get it too! Here is my advice to improve fighting brain fog. Eat (and drink) to feel good Green tea, coffee and water is known to help. Treats like candy and chips can provide an immediate brain boost, but sticking to a balanced diet will help you perform more consistently throughout the day.  You don’t have to make dramatic changes right away. Instead of removing the “unhealthy” foods you regularly eat, start by making nutritious additions to your meals and snack times.  Foods high in antioxidants  — such as blueberries, oranges, and nuts — help reduce oxidative stress in the body, which can have a positive effect on the brain and body.  Other nutritious brain foods include fish. Fish is high in omega-3 fatty acids, which has been associated with lower rates of cognitive decline, according to  experts Trusted Source . It’s also important to stay hydrated. Remember that the brain is approximately 75 percent water! In fact, a  2021 s

type of thoughts

In CBT we draw a distinction between different types of thoughts. Not all of our thoughts are involved with our feelings and behaviour. The thoughts that are involved in our feelings tend to have some sort of assumption or judgement about ourselves, others or the world.  There are two particular types of thoughts that are involved in our emotions or feelings.  Inferences  Evaluations or beliefs  The easiest is the "ABC" model of emotional response  ABC  A - Activating Event (triggers) B - Beliefs  C - Consequences  A - Past, present, future real or imaginary.  C - Feelings Thoughts Actions Behaviour.  When a tigger happens at A you feel, behave, think and experience negative symptoms. Because this happens quickly, you think A causes C consequences. So you may use expressions like 'he made me feel angry' or ' my job makes me depressed'. It is as if we are not responsible for our own emotions. Remember what is at the heart of your feelings is the B beliefs betw

You have a choice. Identifying a range of options will stretch you beyond your usual way of thinking. Because positive thinking Broadens and opens up possibilities and ideas. Too often, though, you might spend ages agonising over the pros and cons of each option: you might over think the situation. How you might wonder, do you know that you’ll be choosing the best option, that you will definitely be making the “right” choice and if it doesn’t, that you won’t regret having made a different decision? Quite simply, you don’t, and won’t. When you make a decision, you can never know for sure that it’s going to turn out well. But with some thought and positive action, you can make it more
