Description Cognitive behavioral therapy is a psycho-social intervention that aims to improve mental health. CBT focuses on challenging and changing unhelpful cognitive distortions and behaviors, improving emotional regulation, and the development of personal coping strategies that target solving current problems you are facing. A lot of life coaches like myself have certifications to teach CBT.  In-Depth:  Cognitive Behavioral Therapy . ...  CBT works  by changing people's attitudes and their behavior by focusing on the thoughts, images, beliefs and attitudes that are held (a person's cognitive processes) and how these processes relate to the way a person behaves, as a way of dealing with emotional problems. Self care & acceptance of epilepsy  More than ever I have started to take better care of my body and mind which heals my health condition epilepsy. I’ve had it since birth, so a neurologists said to me but I found at the age of 25 that’s when I had full blown tonic clonic seizure. Building healthy habits updated

Building habits Building Healthy habits is important, so I show you how to do that.  We’ve all heard that it takes 21 days to form a habit, but unfortunately, that’s not exactly true. It can take closer to 60 days to stick to new habits which is pretty daunting to think about. Doesn’t that make you not want to even try? Sometimes I think about the habits I’ve had in the past and how hard it was to change them. It definitely took longer than 21 days to be consistent. And then there’s my current habit that I’m determined to change (well, sort of determined, otherwise it would have happened by now, right?). It’s overwhelming to create new habits, especially if you keep trying and failing. Though we may blame it on lack of our own willpower or ability, that’s not a good enough reason to stop trying. In this post, I’m sharing what mindset shifts need to happen to help you form new habits and make them stick. Your Mindset + Habits Going from bad habit to good habit can be frustrating when y

Hang around people that bring you up not down

Hang around people who embrace your dreams  Often I find negative or toxic people who don’t want to embrace your success and goals and embrace you as you are. You possibly have toxic family members and the best thing to do is change how you respond to their attitude and negative behaviour as it not your problem to fix. Only they can fix their issues this is where they need therapy. When you find positive people who share same goals and dreams or even spiritual path like on Gabrielle Bernstein miracle membership people like myself share the positive experiences of our spiritual path which inspire us to improve our energy towards it. Below is inspirational video you need to listen to on daily basis to remind yourself that people you spend time with either raise your positive energy or drag you down into a negative hole.  We all have these people, the choice is ours to have them apart of our lives or not. When we embrace positive people we will be more successful and
