 Overcoming grief  I’ve experienced two suicides, both brothers took their lives so.... I understand how suicide affects other people. Not long ago my dad passed away recently and grief is not easy to overcome. We all grieve differently and that is okay. When I received my fathers ashes I felt peace within which was good, it means I have more closure. When my cat passed away it was hard to find a new cat that had a loving side. A year later I found a cat that had that loving side.  Here’s my advice to help you get through grief. Learn to accept the persons passing. Let out how you feel don’t deny your feelings. Use art or other therapy to get through it. Accept change it may feel weird without the person but you need to accept things that have changed. It was their time to go, the universe supports us even when we don’t know it yet. Use CBT known as cognitive behavioural therapy, being mindful of what thoughts you have.
