CBT cognitive behavioural therapy how can it help you

Description

Cognitive behavioral therapy is a psycho-social intervention that aims to improve mental health. CBT focuses on challenging and changing unhelpful cognitive distortions and behaviors, improving emotional regulation, and the development of personal coping strategies that target solving current problems you are facing. A lot of life coaches like myself have certifications to teach CBT.

In-Depth: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. ... CBT works by changing people's attitudes and their behavior by focusing on the thoughts, images, beliefs and attitudes that are held (a person's cognitive processes) and how these processes relate to the way a person behaves, as a way of dealing with emotional problems. So, really CBT is the best therapy you can get and it’s important to learn to change your mindset about anything because if you slip back into negative thoughts then you got go straight to CBT fast before you slip back into negative mindset again. This is why affirmations are important to use and change how you view the situation and your behaviour in more positive nature than where you are now keep going until you notice the difference in your situation and mind.

This is important skills to have in today’s life as depression is unpleasant experience I’ve been there and don’t want to back there at all! I hope this helps you to understand how CBT cognitive behavioural therapy can help you.
