Restore

Restoring our energy is important for the body and mind on a daily basis as we put pressure on ourselves too often. So here is my list of things self care rituals to reclaim your energy back.

1. Sit in nature pause - when we pause in nature we give ourselves time to think space to breathe, so we can make the best decisions. Each time we pause, we take small steps towards rebalancing and reconnecting with who we really are, our dreams and deepest desires.
Plus you your dose of vitamin D by sitting in the sun. This is a good time to breathe deeply using deep breathing techniques.

 2. Do yoga - movement is important for the body so stretching releases the tightness
Did you know yoga is good Yin and yang Balancing our energy.
You connect with yourself and others by balancing your energy regularly as you are more likely to respond to negative situations better because you are balanced physically and mentally.
Slowing down and taking time to nourish yourself at every level will not only benefit your energy, your creativity and mental/emotional balance, it will benefit those are you.

3. Purify your thoughts- thinking negative doesn’t help so thinking and saying positive things to yourself is very much like CBT cognitive behavioural therapy.
Thoughts we have most of the time the thoughts we have are the same old limiting beliefs that keep us stuck on a daily basis. Unless we are aware of the power of our thoughts and the need to plant new Positive seeds, our thoughts can hold us in place of rumination, procrastination, fear, or anxiety.
Cleanse the mind is very important we are not told this in today’s world so we end up suffer anxiety more than we should or we are on medication that causes anxiety which doesn’t serve us any purpose.
Draining our thoughts from the past that has imprisoned us. Monkey mind they called that a Buddhist term which refers to the constant, undirected thinking that often brings anxiety to us.
When you think positive you gain more confidence, be more assertive and healthier mindset that’s why I teach CBT cognitive behavioural therapy to people so you can be at your best everyday.

Much like exercise, that’s what positive affirmations do to raise the level of feel - good hormones and push our brains to form new clusters of positive thoughts. Watch my video below get get inspiration.

4. Get good sleep - that means night routine and stop using technology devices by 9pm for most people some need it early to wind down the mind. Often meditation will help you fall asleep declutter the mind.

5. Reduce the time you use technology devices like computers, tablets, phones too much screen time can be bad for the mind and body as I know it doesn’t help those with epilepsy.
Plus your mind needs to be able to fall asleep as the blue light keeps you awake.

My number one favourite is drink more water and get more sleep!
Hopefully this has inspired you to find what works for you. You can read a book called Restore by The Essentialists.
