Life changing magic of affirmations

Life changing magic of affirmations  I don’t know exactly when it happened, but somewhere along the line, I decided to believe that I was unworthy.    To be honest, I could point to a few different times in my life when that happened, but truthfully we don’t need to go back there and rehash that stuff…unless you pour me some Wine, and then I’m an open book .  And when I get my hands on you, you will be too 😉    But in any case, there were these tricky times that led me to believe that I was unworthy.    I was unworthy of success, unworthy of truly being loved, unworthy of being heard, unworthy of being my true self, the list goes on…    And the only way I figured this out was because I kept finding myself in situations where I wondered how the heck I got there…it was like waking up from a bad dream where you settled for things that you would never imagine yourself settling for.    Like the things that you would condemn a ...

Surrendering to the universe

Surrendering should be seen as a great strength and comes when we let go of trying to attain the impossible. Here is an example of how you might fill this out: Situation :   Alice won when we played tennis, and (like always) she went on about how she's better than me. Self-Critical Thoughts :   She's right; I'm such a loser. I'm no good at tennis or anything. Consequences ( feelings & behaviors ):   I feel angry with myself and want to withdraw from the world. When I play tennis, all I can do is think about how bad I am at it, which makes me feel worse and play...
