🌪️ Coping When You Feel Out of Control

There are times when life feels like it’s spinning faster than we can keep up. Unexpected changes, emotional overwhelm, or even small daily stressors can make us feel powerless. But here’s the truth:  feeling out of control doesn’t mean you’re failing  — it means you’re human. What matters most isn’t controlling everything, but learning how to stay grounded when things get chaotic. 1. Pause and Breathe When life feels too much, your body often enters  survival mode . You might feel tense, restless, or emotionally numb. The simplest and most effective reset is to  breathe . Try this: Take a deep breath in through your nose for 4 seconds, hold for 2, and exhale slowly for 6. Repeat this a few times and notice how your body softens.
