As much as I love routines, I know I need to switch things up to prevent boredom and lack of motivation. After all, variety in life is important for  avoiding a burnout. Acceptance and commitment recognises that when you accept and let go of the negative, unhelpful thoughts, you will let go of the emotions and allow the rational, logical part of your mind start working. - To start thinking more helpful positive thoughts regularly. Instead of getting caught up with your thoughts and struggle with them, just notice them and let them go. Imagine you’re a sheriff in an old western town. You notice an outlaw strolling the street. You don’t challenge him, you simply acknowledge the outlaw and calmly and firmly encourage him to keep walking, right on out of town. What to do when feeling unmotivated Let yourself go through the feeling of being negative for a short time but use CBT cognitive behavioural therapy and then go slowly into being productive by using habits stacking to be motivated to do anything. Don’t be hard on yourself this is common to experience. Often I have these crap days and need to find motivation. Check out my video on the subject. Surrendering to the universe

Surrendering should be seen as a great strength and comes when we let go of trying to attain the impossible. Most of us were raised and live in a culture that emphasizes the ideals of independence and control. The general idea is that we are on our own and we don't need any help from anyone else, and if we are really successful it's because we are in complete control. However, true lasting success comes only with surrendering, which is the opposite of control. We cannot accomplish anything truly great on our own, without any help, and the idea that we can is an illusion that causes most of us a great deal of suffering. Surrender comes when we see that illusion and let go of trying to attain the impossible. Surrender can then be seen as a great strength rather than a weakness. Building self confidence   As you can see this video was inspiring and I wanted to share this with you all. Self confidence is what we all seek and I give you some advice on how to do it.  Below I explain in a podcast what CBT cognitive behavioral therapy is and how to use it.    Below is a CBT approach that you can adapt, if needed: Begin by completing a chart (daily) with column headings: Situation , Self-Critical Thoughts , Consequences ( feelings & behaviors ), and Rational Responses. Here is an example of how you might fill this out: Situation :   Alice won when we played tennis, and (like always) she went on about how she's better than me. Self-Critical Thoughts :   She's right; I'm such a loser. I'm no good at tennis or anything. Consequences ( feelings & behaviors ):   I feel angry with myself and want to withdraw from the world. Staying motivated

Staying motivated is not easy but there is a way to get motivated and make sure your energy around you is cleansed and it will help you feel less heavy. I like to use plao Santo stick to cleanse myself and my home or office space. I myself can get unmotivated, of course winter is the unpleasant time of the year for it.  I guess the covid-19 situation has made our motivation a lot harder to do. Watch a video from a ted talk very interesting.    Here I share another video on finding motivation trust me I know from my own experience.  Honestly it is hard if you make it difficult for your journey, even I have my days and no one really likes rainy days So I do my best regardless even if I wear comfortable clothing, so be it!  However you do it make sure it motivates you.
