Getting in the creative flow

Getting in the creative flow

We all have a creative side and some days it can be a challenge. I find music helps me get inspired and head banging which helps you to feel good within. I'm sure we have these days where we feel unmotivated to create anything. Never the most easiest experience but it can happen to any musicians, bloggers, youtubers you name it! It can happen to you! So, how do we get back into the flow you ask? Well, the way I have always done it is listening to music and watch other youtubers or read blogs or books that get you motivated. and inspired. Maybe watch a music video on youtube? If you are a musician I understand it not easy as I been there before in my past history in music.
Get a pen and paper out start just writing even if it a journal. Possibly go out in nature spend time in sun light get vitamin D at the same time. I know winter is our crap time to be outside but I think head banging to good old guns n roses is great! I did do a podcast about this subject click blow to listen.

We all struggle with being in a rut and it can be a battle.

Signs to look out for

You don't have the energy
Oftentimes, you know what you need to do in order to be happier and more fulfilled., but you just don't the energy. You may know that you need to exercise in order to have energy. That's why I walk in nature regularly if possible. There are times where you don't have energy so I use energy drinks. The truth is you adopt positive habits that will give you the energy, instead of waiting for energy to appear.

You're not excited for the day
When it is emotional rut you either feeling down or got no mojo to do anything, but you seem to struggle to get up out of bed or couch and take that action. You feel you have nothing to look forward to. Winter is the common time with this to happen. You must interrupt these damaging patterns before they steal your goals.

You stay in your comfort zone
This is not a good way to stay stuck in a rut. If you don't grow you are pretty much fucked.

You are not getting ahead
This is common when you're in a financial rut: You spend all your time working, but you make just enough to get by, not get ahead. It's time set new goals and discover how you can get out of a rut and ahead.

Identify what is making you be in a rut
To identify why you're stuck in a rut with life, think about how your decisions play a roll in this and into a positive rather than a negative one.

  1. Get out of denial
  2. uncover the real reason
  3. Turn the shoulds into musts
  4. Create healthy habits
  5. Take on a challenge
  6. Get support - if you need support talk to me and follow me on YouTube or podcasts
Affirmation to use.

Don't rush to be super creative this is only the beginning. I highly recommend reading a book called Being creative by Michael Atavar it very good to read!
Below is a video I did about being creative it was highly requested by my music fans

I hope this gets you inspired to be creative.
