Self care Sunday reset day

Sundays are wonderful for catching up with house work that has been left untouched, unwinding and binge-watching Netflix. But above all, it’s a great day for planning and making sure the next week will be your best week. Ever. Most of all a self care reset day! Here are some of the things I try to do every Sunday and how, by doing so, I avoid the Monday blues, feeling overwhelmed or anxious about the week ahead. Sounds great, right? Let’s get started.

I use my parents spa pool to relax and feel better it's like a bath but bigger. I also use my essential oil diffuser normally in the morning because I'm meditating it resets my mind for the day.

  • Shift your mindset Changing how you view things makes a big difference to starting your week. Nothing worse than having Monday blues! I use meditation to help with that and journal.
  • Meal prep preparing your meals for the week helps a lot even if you don't work it helpful if you have a health condition like me I have epilepsy.
  • Plan your week get your planner out start planning your to do list and whatever else you got to do.
  • Goal setting Goal setting helps us create the life we want but don't go overboard with it be realistic about how you can achieve these goals.
  • Clean and declutter your space Decluttering is so good because you are letting go of items that no longer serve you. I clean with music on and even if it just a little bit is enough to make you feel good.
  • Unwind and relax  Nothing like relaxing with a bit of Netflix or YouTube videos and a nice cup of coffee or chai latte, always gets me feeling relaxed not rushing myself for the week. If you like meditation and breathing exercises go for it's got good health benefits.

I find this helpful to make my week less depressing hope this inspires you to use Sunday as a day to relax.

Blessings to you from Lori at Lifesuccessnz xx 🤗
