Ways to staying positive 


Staying positive during this time is needed to be calm, so here are my tips on how to stay positive watch the video below.


1. Read inspiring self help books 

2. Go for a walk

3. Get out into the sun light it important to get vitamin D

4. Get dressed not in lazy clothing otherwise you will feel lazy at this time

5. Get outside do some gardening

6. Talk positive towards yourself - positive affirmations are important as it keeps our mindset in the right place, that's why I teach CBT cognitive behavioral therapy.  

7. Meditate daily - relaxation is good for the mind and body

8. listen to an audio or watch a video  that inspires you

9. Remove toxic people from your life you don't need their negative behavior around you.

10. Don't look at negative comments online first thing in the morning like Facebook or Instagram as it will destroy you positive mindset and it will cause you to have a bad and a shit mood.

I find that when we don't take care of our mental health through this fear of uncertainty we become physically drained. First thing in the morning I like to meditate and then drink my coffee after that I read a self help book or listen to an audiobook, once I have done that then do some journal writing out my emotions or what I am planning for my life. You need tools in order to handle any negative situation in life.

Choosing 
emotional states and values that help us to live full lives based on what's important to us deep down. 

cultivating 
habits and routines that provide the architecture for a life you want to live that flourishing.

practicing 
methods that create a well-being mindset (positive mindset).
This is a daily habit you must practice in order to feel good each day. 

making space for 
life when it gets hard (only if you make it hard) so you can face the many ways life trips you up without getting stuck. 

Each of these things you need to make it a habit daily in order to feel happy and peace within. Some people need spiritual beliefs to feel peace before full happiness can happen that is why I read a book called A return to love by Marianne Williamson principles of a course in miracles, this book has shifted my mindset and I felt peace knowing that god is there in the universe supporting us more than you think. The miracle is feeling love and peace within and shows love to others not hate brings happiness to my mind.

Happiness is a transient emotional state it can be hard to find, and harder still to hold onto for long. Some days, it may disappear for no good reason at all and leave you scrambling for other emotions to fill it's place. Thriving is a psychological state that doesn't just rely on positive feelings like happiness, but you on the daily choices we make plays a role and how we think. 

simple choices like gratitude, kindness, patience, laughter, looking at life on the bright side.
these are all habits you improve on daily like kindness meditation or saying affirmations or even doing something kind for someone else brings emotional joy to us.

So get your journal out start doing some work.

Reflection 

Reflect on what is going why are you struggling to find your happiness, is it to do with a relationship? Can you leave that relationship? What toxic negative people can you remove from your life? These things need to be addressed so you can feel less stress in your life.
Is your job stressful? Why are you struggling to handle anxiety? What is causing anxiety? These questions you need to ask yourself is important so we can find a way to find your happiness every day. How are you your habits in the morning as soon as you wake up? 
The ideas I gave you are to change your daily habits to feel good each day. List the items you are doing currently. 


minimizing the negative 

You want to start by looking at the list of bad habits you do daily that don't bring joy to you.
For example you wake up first thing you do is look at your phone on social media or you grab your coffee go back to bed and look at social media. These are common habits people do which is not good for your mental state. So, we need to change your routine with positive ones it may take a while to get used to it and do on auto pilot. But trust me doing a positive routine is going to set you up to feel good each day. That's why I feel better about myself and my day as soon as I watch inspiring video online or listen to Gabby Bernstein podcast, once I've done that I feel good most of the day not to mention that music gets you moving your body! So ask yourself this question - how can I make this FAR less likely to happen? 
Maybe delete that app and only have it on tablet not your phone. 
Next create a plan on how you can do this. 

Increase the positive!
How we going to do that is using the CBT known as cognitive behavioral therapy to changing you mindset and behaviors towards these things you do for habit. The best way to do it is what good behaviors are you doing list them down in your journal. I highly recommend two books to read to help you on your journey 

1. Be Happy by DR. Rebecca Ray 
2. Happiness by Gill Hasson - this book can be found on google play as an audio it be more motivating to listen to every morning.
