Understanding how CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) works
When we have negative thoughts it’s called cognitive
distortions these thoughts can lead to a negative experience for example depression. Thoughts create feelings and feelings create actions create our behaviour. So, what thoughts are you having? What emotions are your thoughts triggering? What actions is emotions causing you to do? Being aware of this, it is important. what I teach in CBT known as cognitive behavioural therapy being mindful of our thoughts is something we need to be mindful of and do what we can to improve.
