Living with epilepsy
Living with epilepsy and staying strong.
When I was only 25 I was diagnosed with epilepsy, I had no idea that I was living with it since the day I was born and was not noticed. I want to be a voice for those with epilepsy who struggle to have their voices heard. Here are some information about epilepsy and how can you understand it better. https://epilepsy.org.nz/understanding-epilepsy/
We are no different from anyone else on this planet and yet we are down graded by others with judgement. It’s not easy to be accepted as you and as a life coach with this kind of disability of my own even though I grew up knowing my mother was fighting for the disabled people’s rights at the Parliament in New Zealand. Every person with a disability deserves to have their rights and have it respected.

I suffered from mostly absent seziures but everyone’s experience is different. Here are important information you need to read to understand.
I live life as normal as possible and I believe judgement is cruel. So if you are judging someone based solely on their disability think twice about how you treat others.
I am a normal person even though I have epilepsy but it not everyday as self care and meditation are necessary.
You might not be a person living with epilepsy; you might be a concerned family member, friend, employer or carer. Whatever your situation, we hope the information in this section will be useful to you in understanding and supporting a person living with epilepsy.
I live life the best it can be and you or someone you know who has epilepsy let them know that they can live life the best it can be regardless of what type of epilepsy seziures they have.
